A beach birthday bash

One of Thomas' best friends from school is a little boy who shares the same first name. They are great buddies and Thomas was so excited to be invited to the other Thomas' birthday party this weekend. Parker was allowed to come along too. It was held at Thomas' grandparents home, which is on the ocean at Seabrook Island. The boys thought it was great!

Parker convinced "Pops" to share his lap with him (and that's friend Thomas' little brother):

In typical Thomas fashion, he begged Thomas to open his present first...so that (my) Thomas could play with the toy while (birthday friend) Thomas opened other gifts.

Thomas didn't want to leave. He had so much fun with Thomas' family and friends.

I didn't take the camera down to the beach when we played down there, but the boys both had a ball. Thomas' grandparents have such a lovely home. Who wouldn't love that view every day?

I finally had to force the boys to leave, and it wasn't long before the car ride home got very quiet. Once I got home, I could more easily see why...

Thomas has asked me to go back to Baba and Pops house several times (just as he frequently asks to go visit both sets of his grandparents!). I don't think he realizes they aren't his grandparents too. :) Not that his grandparents aren't fabulous and have wonderful homes to visit...but the novelty of the beach is nice. :-)
