Homebound realizations

We had a small amount of work done at the house today that involved repainting almost all of the ceilings downstairs. This meant that the boys, the dog and I were stuck upstairs for the hours while the crew was here. Luckily they worked very fast. When they arrived though, I made a startling realization. I guess it's nothing I didn't already know, but we have TOO MANY TOYS.

These were all the toys from downstairs all put in one room to get out of the way of the workers (in the one room they didn't have to paint). There are many more upstairs. So either we don't need any more toys, or we need to win the lottery and get a bigger house with a designated playroom. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket. :)

Speaking of toys, we pulled out an oldie but a goody while trying to make the most of being holed up in the house. The boys didn't fit all that great, but they had fun trying.

Next time we need work done at the house, I hope it's not a rainy day!
