There was much playing involved:
Too bad I don't have a picture of the time when Katherine tried to drive Thomas' jeep, but Nannie didn't back up first. She was pinned between the jeep and the tricycle. Luckily it was a moment that brought us all great laughter (except Katherine, who was horrified that she may have hurt Nannie!).
How could anyone be mad at this face?
Of course if someone asked me that about this face, I could certainly count the ways. ;-)
That was Thomas showing that he could actually smile for the camera, just like his cousin Katherine.
Cousin Eliza seemed to enjoy the fun. I know she always loves playing with her cousins (and she loves to call Thomas "Nomas." It's so cute).
A rare photo of me (not looking all that fabulous, but such is life!), and a rare moment of Parker sitting in my lap. He must have been eating or trying to impress Eliza and his Aunt Beth.
I believe the wine was mine, not Parker's. :)
Meanwhile it was dinnertime (or rather post-dinner...time for a much loved banana popscicle) back at the kiddie table:
I wish I had taken more pictures, but I guess we were busy having too much fun. I'm contemplating taking Thomas to California next month for his cousin's birthday. I really do want to see our California family much more often!
