Halloween day was a pretty crazy day around here. Trey and I went out of town to go car shopping and left the boys with my parents. Unfortunately, both of the boys (unbeknownst to us) were a bit under the weather and it made things a bit crazy and hectic, to say the least. In the end, the boys didn't really go trick-or-treating, but Thomas was perfectly content to hand out candy to the kids that stopped by our house. The next day I dressed the boys up so we could still have a little photo op.
Parker was most interested in the bag. He would have carried that thing around for three days straight had I let him. :)
For the quickly gathered photo op, shoes were optional. ;-) And the prettier pumpkin was a magnet for gnats so it had to be moved away.
The night before Halloween we took the boys to the aquarium for their annual Fish or Treat event.
They weren't very interested in letting me take their picture.
But they had fun inside. Thomas was intrigued by the "jellyfish."
And there were many games to play...
But what they probably enjoyed most was the non-Halloween related "game" of sending a coin down a funnel.
And Parker just wanted to hold the bag...
As soon as we got home that evening I took Thomas to the after-hours pediatric care near us for a horrible cough he had. Hopefully next year Halloween will involve a little more trick-or-treating and lot less medical care! Here's another picture of our Halloween time fun!
If we never have to do another breathing treatment around here, that is just fine with me!
