One month old!

It's so hard to believe that Parker is already ONE month old! Today as I sat and looked at him in my lap, I already couldn't believe how big he is. It's sad to see how fast it all happens! Today at the grocery store I was wearing him in a wrap and a lady asked to see him and then asked if he was 3-4 months old!!! I guess he is a big baby!



I'd like to get a larger stuffed animal (more like Thomas's puppy), but until then, this little rabbit will have to do. It's the only thing that is really HIS! :) Oh the life of a child of hand-me-downs...



Parker has been a very good baby in his first month of life. Until the past couple of days, this what Parker looked like for at least 90% of the day...


On those rare occasions when he is awake, he makes the funniest little faces. Here's a sampling:

But he is adorable. He does make smiles here and there (usually while sleeping), but I've yet to really capture one on camera. I have a lot of pictures like this one. No smiles, but still cute!



I'm not sure yet what Parker thinks of his big brother, but Thomas sure thinks his little brother is pretty neat. He is quite the close talker with him sometimes:



But whenever Parker is around, he just wants to be near him. Tonight, while I was feeding Parker, Thomas kept asking to get in my lap. Once Parker finished, I told Thomas I'd put Parker down and let Thomas have his turn in my lap. As soon as I put Parker down, Thomas no longer wanted me to "Hold ya! Hold ya!"



For as much as I don't want my boys to grow up too quickly, I do look forward to watching them develop their relationship as brothers. One month down! A very full lifetime yet to go!
