Happy six years!

Yesterday was a crazy day around here with two no-napping boys, weather playing havoc with Trey's flights (and driving our dog crazy), and I never found much time to sit and relax and reflect on the special day. Six years ago yesterday, this is where Trey and I were...

And while the past six years have been filled with ups and downs (some pretty far down, I might add), some moving around and some living apart, we have managed to make it through and for that I am very thankful.

These days when we are the subject of a special event in a church, it's no longer just the two of us...it's the four of us.

I am thankful that I am married to a man who is such a loving and giving person; and he is such a wonderful father and role model for our sons. I hope that the Lord blesses us with many, many more anniversaries in the years to come (at least 60!). We have certainly been richly blessed with our two wonderful sons in our first six years. They definitely make the rocky road traveled to get them much more bearable.

Happy anniversary to my wonderful husband!

P.S. So far today, naptime is not going well for the baby again...but sounds like the older one has decided to stop putting up a fight. Oh, and we all have a cold. Isn't that lovely?

And if anyone has any tips on how to teach a two-year old how to blow his nose, I'm all ears.

I can't believe yall are all sick! We sure miss seeing you and hope we can get together soon!

ps the only way I've ever gotten M.A. to blow her nose is to tell her to blow "down" (telling her to blow out just never clicked!) Good luck!
