The little things

I think the world would be a much better place if we all could find such joy in the little things. Sometimes it doesn't take much at all to entertain Thomas. Last week it was the sheet from his Pack N' Play. He had the best time walking up and down the hall with it wrapped around his shoulders or covering his face (though the latter is certainly not the safest way to play!).

The game went something like this. "I think I'll cover my head with this sheet."

"And then I'll run to Mommy, laughing heartily the whole way."

"It's really hilarious; you ought to try it!"

"The fun never ends!"

And this picture was from about a month ago. Thomas won't wear sunglasses for the point of wearing sunglasses, but he thinks it's really funny to put them on for seconds, or perhaps a rare minute, at a time. One night it was as he was getting dressed for bed and he thought he was very cool:

A little crooked, but he doesn't seem to mind. :)

In other news, seems like he is teething again. I think I feel a molar on the bottom that is very close to the surface. Last night (or rather early this morning) he woke up crying at 5:15, which is rare for him. He's also been fussier than usual lately and sticking his hands in his mouth rather obsessively. Molars can't be fun, so I'm sure the near future will be loads of happiness around our household. :)
