A long overdue hello

I am sorry I have been neglecting this blog. Trey has been home and I've been working on a project that I'll share more about soon. Since Trey is flying tonight I thought I'd upload some pictures and update this blog a bit. But wouldn't you know it, I can't find the camera cord. Luckily I did upload some pictures a few weeks ago (when our friends were in town) and I never got a chance to share them, so here they are!

As I mentioned in my last post, some friends came into town with their almost one year old girl (she just turned one last week!). One day we went to the beach:


It was the little girl, A's, first trip to the beach. I think she really enjoyed it, and Thomas didn't mind sharing too much.


Their last morning here, Thomas and A enjoyed some special time on the floor. Who knows what they are saying, but it looks really important.


A tells her best "fish story"...

By our final lunch together, I think A was still a little unsure of this loud little fella sitting next to her:


The night A left, Thomas was pretty pensive and maybe a little sad and lonely. Trey took these pictures when he sat down for dinner.






Maybe tomorrow Trey can tell me where the cord is and I can finally get around to uploading Thomas's 17-month pictures. Gee, he's only 10 days from being 18 months!
