We spent the Easter weekend at Nana & Umpa's house. The boys had a great time with their grandparents and the weekend flew by! Today was Easter and the boys were glad the Easter bunny found them there. And they weren't too awful at church either. :)
I admit I kind of fell off the wagon on buying Easter outfits this year. Parker's outfit was a hand-me-down (though I had to get him a new white shirt...and I bought a size 4T!!!!!!!). I did have to buy him new shoes since he has such a wide foot, unlike Thomas. Thomas's outift was essentially the same as last year except for a new white shirt, a different vest (but from last year) and I had to unhem the pants I hemmed last year. Thomas' sweater vest was a bit short and little silly looking, but oh well. I'll do better next year!
Attempting to take pictures of the boys is very similar to herding cats. Not fun at all. And then when I realized a funky shadow was in the picture, my memory card ran out of space. Oh well. We got a few cute pics....though I'll have to keep searching for the perfect one.
We thought the tulips would make a good backdrop. Unfortunately for the tulips, they didn't stand a chance around my boys. Sorry, Nana, that my boys made such a mess...pulling out several by the bulb. Oops.
Good thing Easter is not all about getting a great picture of your children. Alleluia! Alleluia! Christ has risen! :)
